NOTMUCH (744B)

      1 This project uses notmuch, an answer to Sup.

      3 Notmuch is now configured in a file in the home directory named .notmuch-config.
      4 You can either edit that file directly or run "notmuch setup", though for
      5 stamail I would just copy the example file and edit that to your specs. To
      6 choose an alternate configuration location, set ${NOTMUCH_CONFIG}.

      8 The next step is to run "notmuch new" which will create a database that indexes
      9 all of your mailing-list. Depending on the amount of mail you have the initial indexing
     10 process can take a long time, so expect that. Also, the resulting database will
     11 require roughly the same amount of storage space as your current collection of
     12 email. So please ensure you have sufficient storage space available now.
